We're 78% of the way there! Help us reach £16k by 7th September to secure the future of LGBTQIA+ inclusive faith communities across the UK.

For 18 years, Open Table has built places where LGBTQIA+ people of faith can belong without hiding or apologising.

We're so close - Thank you!

Thanks to you, we've raised more than £12,000 of our £16,000 goal, through this Crowdfunder and direct donations, and the Open Table Network (OTN) is no longer at risk of imminent closure.

Now we want to go further to secure our future.

We have until midday on Monday 7th September to close the final gap.

From here, every pound isn't just keeping the lights on - it's investing in new communities, stronger local leaders, and a safe space for everyone who still needs to find us.

What your money funds

Your donation funds our small national team, which:

• Helps new communities get started
• Supports local leaders with training, mentoring, and coordination
• Connects people across the network, breaking the isolation many LGBTQIA+ Christians feel.

As one Open Table member put it:

'If it ceased to exist tomorrow, we would have a vacuum of people who wouldn't necessarily have a spiritual home and wouldn't have a place to worship.'

Lives changed

 Our latest independent research found:

• 84% of members said taking part has 'very much' or 'extremely' reduced their feelings of isolation
• 87% said an LGBTQIA+ affirming faith space was 'very' or 'extremely' important to them
• 94% say Open Table has directly improved their wellbeing.

One member said:

'It's helped me heal in so many ways from past religious-related trauma. It's helped me reconcile my Christian identity with my gender identity.'

Behind every percentage point is a person who no longer has to choose between their faith and who they are.
