Sponsor the Journey - Every Mile Delivers Hope

Aim

Support New Forest for Ukraine this winter. Help us raise £28,000 to send 8 lorries of vital humanitarian aid to Ukraine before Christmas

Help Us Keep Eight Lorries Moving

This Winter is coming, and people across Ukraine are facing another harsh and uncertain winter.

We need your help to keep essential humanitarian aid moving from the New Forest to the people and communities who need it most.

We are aiming to send 8 articulated lorries from the New Forest to Ukraine before Christmas. Each journey costs approximately £3,500, so we need to raise £28,000 to make all eight journeys possible. Eight lorries mean 416 pallets and approximately 96 tonnes of essential humanitarian aid delivered to Ukraine.

Every donation, whatever the amount, will help us get another lorry on the road.

Why Winter Matters

Imagine waking up to -27°C.

Now imagine there is:

No electricity. No heating.

No hot water.

No way to charge your phone.

The shops and petrol stations you depend on may have been damaged or forced to close. Food and essential supplies can become harder to access. And outside, drones and missiles are still overhead.

This is the reality facing civilians across Ukraine.

Repeated attacks on energy infrastructure leave millions of people without reliable electricity, heating and water. In some areas, people are left with electricity for only a few hours a day.

As winter approaches, the situation remains desperately difficult.

Continued attacks on critical infrastructure are leaving civilians increasingly vulnerable as temperatures fall.

For people living near the front line, for elderly and vulnerable people, for families and for those who have already lost so much, winter is not simply uncomfortable. It can be life-threatening.

Who We Are

New Forest for Ukraine is an entirely volunteer-run humanitarian charity, bringing together people, businesses, schools, churches and community groups across the New Forest and beyond to support people affected by the ongoing war in Ukraine.

What We Do

Our volunteers collect, sort and prepare essential humanitarian aid, working with trusted partners in Ukraine who tell us what their communities need. Each lorry carries practical support such as food, toiletries, warm clothing, blankets, medical supplies, mobility equipment, generators, power banks, pet supplies and other essential items.

These donations reach families, elderly people, displaced communities, hospitals, care homes and community centres.

Where Your Donation Goes

Every penny raised will fund transportation from the New Forest to Ukraine and the distribution of aid within Ukraine.

Your donation helps turn the supplies our volunteers and local community collect into practical support for people facing another difficult winter.

£28,000 needed. Eight lorries to send. 416 pallets of essential aid to deliver.

One community keeping vital humanitarian support moving.

Please donate today to help us send the next lorry to Ukraine. Together, we can keep vital aid moving and help ensure that people facing another difficult winter know they have not been forgotten. From our community to theirs

We Deliver A Future Of Hope.

Testimonials

We have received many heartfelt messages of thanks from the people and communities we support. You can see more testimonials on our Facebook page, but here are just two:

From Maria at AKCF: When people receive your support, tears well up in their eyes—tears born not only of the pain they have endured but also of the realization that there are caring hearts who remember them, extend a helping hand, and offer hope for the future. We wish to express special thanks for the soap provided for our indomitable Defenders and for those displaced by the war.
