Hi, we are H.U.M.A.N. (Help Unify Mankind And Nations), trading as Make Us Human, a Birmingham-based organisation dedicated to bringing people together and strengthening community cohesion.
For over five years, we have worked across Birmingham and the West Midlands, engaging directly with communities and addressing issues many avoid, from stereotypes and stigma to cultural barriers and division.
We create spaces where real conversations happen, understanding grows, and connections are built that lead to meaningful change.

WHY WE ARE RAISING MONEY
The reality is simple.
Communities are not lacking people. They are lacking connection.
Across Birmingham, leaders, organisations, and communities are often working in isolation. Opportunities to collaborate are missed, and meaningful conversations are not always given the space they need.
Without intentional spaces to bring the right people together, progress slows and divisions remain.
That is what we are here to change.
WHAT'S THE GOAL: £10,000
We are raising £10,000 to deliver the Cultural Mosaic Community Cohesion Gala Dinner 2026, a carefully designed event bringing together business leaders, community organisations, public sector representatives, influencers, and decision-makers.
This is not just an event.
It is a room designed for connection, collaboration, and action, where conversations lead to partnerships, and partnerships lead to real change.
HOW WILL THE FUNDS BE USED?
Every pound raised will go directly towards:
Securing a professional venue and delivering a high-quality event experience
Bringing in speakers and facilitators to lead meaningful discussions
Targeted outreach to ensure the right mix of attendees are in the room
Ensuring accessibility so diverse voices and communities are represented
Supporting follow-up initiatives that turn conversations into ongoing collaboration
