The Maurice Project

Aim
Provision House is launching an exciting community project, involving the restoration of a 1963 E-Type Jaguar, classic car.
In January of 2025 Provision House were left a valuable 1963 E-type Jaguar in the will of Mr. Maurice Pope. Maurice’s expressed wish was that Provision House develop a Dudley based community project to involve local people in the car’s full restoration. It is hoped that this will inspire young people, impart new skills and improve community cohesion / mental health. The car is then to be sold in order to fund further Dudley community projects.
The project will not only give young people in Dudley a unique opportunity to work on a very rare care, in doing so it will give them vital skills which will increase their employability, self confidence and knowledge of the automotive heritage of the Midlands.
Thanks to Dudley College, we have this great space in the ‘Hanger’ at the Institute of Technology on Zoological Drive off Tipton Road
