Aim

The aim is to turn the old Farmfoods premises, in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre, into a community and live performance hub for all.

'The Cave' venue will support cultural provision in Redditch region/beyond by providing a permanent professional performance/recording/rehearsal space.

Partnering with Redditch’s Kingfisher Shopping Centre, the venue will be accessible for all live performances in the Arts and all diverse community/arts groups.

Due to closures of many arts/music venues in the area over the last few years, The Cave will revitalise Redditch’s disadvantaged town centre, offering multi-purpose, affordable spaces for cultural engagement/upskilling & supporting the wider arts community & local business economy with new footfall.

Building on the growing impact of many Palace Drum Clinic's events and projects,  this will provide unique services/facilities & make a long-term impact on Midlands cultural provision.

The Cave will bring live performances and events including monthly clubs like jazz/blues, spoken word etc. There are also going to be three recording studios within the venue which will attract many musicians and artists back into the area. Also providing space for other artists, photographers, videographer etc.  The Kingfisher Shopping Centre venue is going will be able to provide a space for all creative people/groups. The Cave will be a modular unit space for Music, Entertainment, Conference, Education and the Community with the flexibility of being able to host as a live venue, live Broadcast studio and streaming capabilities.

With its recording facilities, Pre Production space and live area, this will be a real asset to Redditch and its local community.

The Cave will be a venue which has many features. It'll also be a space for groups to meet and also hold support meetings/events. 18 different community events mostly on a monthly basis. The aim is to cover a wider range of aspects throughout the community in the form of events and groups which can help to grow our community, these will cover aspects like community health and mental health, loneliness, men's well-being, other community interests in the form of other activities like mother and baby, single parents, elderly, cultural recognition, gaming, art and literature etc.

To break this down, it will only takes 1500 people/groups to donate £100 and we have  got our venue!!!
