To purchase a historic farm building to expand our therapeutic and nurturing care farm and SEN school. To provide a post 16 year old centre.
Please help to fund a new school for children with special needs. In a beautiful farm house setting.
Local Droitwich Spa headteacher, Lynne Duffy is appealing for crowd funding to help extend her specialist educational provision to even more deserving children.
The original school and care farm - Gloverspiece, was established in 2010 as a care farm and 2017 as a school. Both have been an overwhelming success, providing farm based learning and volunteering for children with specialist care needs.
The original school site is set in an 11 acre canal side setting, home to a variety of rescued animals from horses to foxes. The rescued animals have a loving home and offer animal therapy to clients and students. The school is full to capacity with 25 SEN children and the provision can only cater up to 16 years old. This crowd funding has been set up to help with the rapid purchase for the much needed expansion.
There is a beautiful farm house that Gloverspiece want to purchase and need your help to do so.
We are looking to raise £500,000 in order to secure the building and farm land at auction.
Any donation would be most greatly appreciated.
Thank you
